•    Save the file as a Page

  1. Go to the webpage which displays the error.
  2. Press on the Yes option.
  3. Click on the File option.
  4. Select the Save As option.
  5. Press on the browse button.
  6. Enter the file title by going to the pull-down list linked with the Save as type option.
  7. Press on the Save option for converting the file into the HTML file.
  8. Go to Microsoft Excel.
  9. Open the file option.
  10. Find the file which you have already changed into the HTML file format.
  11. After that, select the Open option.
  12. After opening the HTML file in Microsoft Excel.
  13. Click on the File option.
  14. Press on the Save button.
  15. Click on the Save As option.
  16. You need to start saving the file like Excel; 97-2003 (.xls).
  17. After converting the file, you will not face the Excel found unreadable content error.

•    Install the Visual Basic Component

  1. Click on the Windows and R keys together.
  2. It will launch the Run prompt box.
  3. After that, enter “appwiz.cpl” in the given box.
  4. Click on the Enter button.
  5. It will launch the Programs and Features window.
  6. In the Programs and Features menu, go down through the menu list of all the apps which you have already installed.
  7. Find the MS Office installation.
  8. After getting it, you need to right-click on the MS Office installation.
  9. Press on the Change option.
  10. After opening the MS Office Setup menu, select the Add or Remove Feature option.
  11. After that, press on the Continue option.
  12. Go through the menu list of the available add-ons which you can install on the MS Office.
  13. Enlarge the pull-down menu linked with the Office Shared Features option.
  14. After that, you need to right-click on the Visual Basic for Application.
  15. Then, select the “Run from My Computer” option.
  16. Click on the Continue option.
  17. Go through on-screen instructions to finish the upgrading process of MS Office.
  18. After finishing this procedure, start the system.
  19. Check if you have solved this issue.
